How did our story begin?
Not every story begins from scratch; some begin from a lens, and from a passion that lasted for years. This is how “Hujra” began, when photographer Emad Alhusayni picked up the camera and made it a window to the homeland. More than 17 years he spent documenting major government projects, most notably the Two Holy Mosques, until some of his photos were chosen to be part of the Saudi passport—a testament that when work is crafted with art, it achieves immortality.

He was not content with just being a photographer.
He wanted to build an entity that carries this legacy and gives it a broader horizon, and from here, “Hujra” was born; an artistic vision that seeks beauty behind every scene, and tries to capture what goes beyond the visible image: the story, the essence, the impact.
“Hujra” was not created to offer fleeting media content, but to craft visual content that inspires and influences, where images transform into stories, clips into memories, and passing moments into an everlasting impact.
